Wisdom Teeth
Picture
Wisdom teeth can cause pain and discomfort particularly when impacted. If left in the jaws, wisdom teeth can also cause cysts and tumours, as well as risk jaw fractures. We specialise in the surgical removal of wisdom teeth in a painless manner and follow you through your healing journey after your surgery.
Broken / Impacted teeth
You may have impacted or broken teeth in your mouth. If these teeth need surgical management, your Dentist, Dental Specialist or GP may refer you to us. We can also expose impacted teeth and attach gold chains to them so your Dentist or Orthodontist can help traction the teeth into your bite.

Dental implants
Picture
Dental implants are titanium fixtures surgically placed in your jaw bone to help your Dentist and/or Prosthodontist replace missing teeth in your mouth.
Bone Grafting
If you are looking to replace missing teeth in your mouth with a dental implant, but do not have sufficient bone for the placement of a dental implant, your Dentist or Dental Specialist may refer you to us for a bone graft. This involves surgery to generate bone in a region of your jaws so a dental implant can be placed in the future.

Sinus Lift

Similar to bone grafting, sinus lift is a procedure that generates bone in the upper jaw to allow the placement of a dental implant to help replace any missing teeth.
Orthognathic surgery
Orthognathic surgery is surgery to the upper and/or lower jaws to help correct under and over bites. We provide this service in conjunction with management from your Dentist and Orthodontist.

obstructive sleep apnoea

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea or OSA refers to sleep disorders that cause daytime tiredness. It is usually diagnosed by your GP and/or Respiratory Physician and managed with a CPAP machine while you sleep. However if you or your partner cannot tolerate a CPAP machine while you sleep, we can discuss surgical options for your jaws to help with OSA.
temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders
Temporomandibular Joints or TMJ are the joints of the jaws in front of the ears. They can sometimes cause you pain and discomfort and limit your function such as chewing and speaking. We can discuss non-surgical as well as surgical options for any TMJ dysfunction you may be suffering from. Surgical options include arthroscopy and total joint replacement.

Facial Bone Fractures

If you have sustained a fracture of your facial bones, we can discuss surgical and non-surgical options for management. Facial bone fractures can be caused by a number of mechanisms including sports, motor vehicle accidents, falls and assault. Facial bones commonly fractured include, but not limited to:
  • lower jaw or mandible
  • upper jaw or maxilla
  • eye sockets
  • cheek bones
Oral and jaw pathology
Sometimes the inner lining of your mouth or mucosa, as well as the bones of your jaws can develop a lesion or pathology that your Dentist or Doctor want further investigated. We can help manage any oral pathologies you may be concerned about.
